The city... The river...

Recife...The Brazilian Venice.

Recife is the capital city of Pernambuco, Brazil. It is located where the Beberibe River meets the Capibaribe River to flow into the Atlantic Ocean. Surrounded by rivers and crossed by bridges, Recife is full of islands and mangroves that magnify its geography. That's why it is known as the Brazilian Venice.

How sad it was to see how polluted the river is... There is a long way to learn about caring for and respecting nature... This project is a great step to it!
