Capibaribe River

Capibaribe River was a great source of inspiration for poets and writers, such as João Cabral de Melo Neto with his famous “Cão sem plumas”,(Dog without feather) besides his historic and social importance in the formation and development of Northern Region of Brazil.
Known as the Bridge – River for being, during colonial epoch, the link between sugarcane culture from Wood zone of Pernambuco and the corrals of the rural area and the midland.
