Brief introduction:
Tongbai Senior High School is an experimental and exemplary high school in Putuo district and is the civilized unity of Shanghai. The surroundings of the school are beautiful and the discipline of the school is good and strict. There are 20 classes in our school, including senior one, senior two and senior three. And there are eight hundred and twenty four students and seventy six employees including teachers and other workers. Tongbai Senior High School has been holding Art Specialized class for 10 years. During these years, we made a lot of progresses trough continuous researches. The school has built an all – round working system of art including team building, curriculum designing, teaching facilities preparing and teaching supervising. The quality and achievements of art teaching of Tongbai Senior High School is among the top schools in the district and has certain influences in the art teaching field in Shanghai.

Mingshan Ying whose another name is Guyu in traditional Chinese way and whose nick name is Liao Fan Ju Shi and “Ban Ge Xiu Cai” in April, 1959. He has been a teacher for 28 years and began to teach art in Tongbai Senior High School in 1996. He has several works, including Qingchun Collection, Free Thinking Collection, Zixin Collection and other theses containing over 10 thousand words. He also has more than 70 pieces of painting in the book named Creation Collection.
He was awarded the prize of Individual Advanced Person of Art Teaching of Shanghai in 2001 and the prize of Excellent Guiding Teacher of Art to the teenagers in Shanghai in 2005 and 2006.
